Welcome to West County Bible Church!
We are a non-denominational church deeply committed to following Jesus Christ and communicating His Gospel in a clear and loving way. We stand upon the Word of God as our sole authority; it is the basis for everything we believe and all that we do. Our services are designed to create a deep sense of worship and to communicate clear Biblical truths. Our concern as a family of believers is to provide a loving, caring, and accepting community where each person can experience God's grace.

West County Bible Church exists to bring people to the love of Jesus Christ and membership in His family, bring them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for ministry in the church and a life mission of sharing the Gospel, in order to magnify God. We celebrate God's presence in our lives, welcome everyone as His family, educate His people for growth, show His love to others, and share His life-changing Word.
In essential beliefs, we have unity.
"...endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Ephesians 4:3-6
In non-essential beliefs, we have liberty.
"Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things...Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand...Therefore let us not judge one another, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way...let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another...Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God..." Romans 14
In all our beliefs, we show love.
"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2
IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Prayer, prayer, prayer
needed! The mission team has been bringing the truth of the Gospel and the love of Jesus to our brothers and sisters in Barranquilla, Colombia. Please keep them, the work, and the Colombian nationals in your prayers. A list of some of the many prayer needs is on the back bulletin board. Petition Jesus on behalf of the team and the Colombian nationals!
The Sunday morning All Adult Bible Study will now begin meeting on Monday evenings, 7:00 p.m. starting Monday, July 18th. This study combines the previously separate Men's & Women's studies.
The women will continue the blanket project the last Monday of each month starting at 8:00 p.m., following the Bible study.
The basket in the back of church is to help the Jefferson County Rescue Mission keep food on their shelves for those in need. Keep in mind that summers are the most difficult time for them because hungry children are not at school where they can receive breakfast and lunch, but instead must rely on whatever food is available at home.
Build an unshakeable foundation of God's Word in your life. Contact Pastor Jimmie or Pastor Josh if you would like to grow stronger in your faith through discipleship.
