Welcome to West County Bible Church!

picWe are a non-denominational church deeply committed to following Jesus Christ and communicating His Gospel in a clear and loving way. We stand upon the Word of God as our sole authority; it is the basis for everything we believe and all that we do. Our services are designed to create a deep sense of worship and to communicate clear Biblical truths. Our concern as a family of believers is to provide a loving, caring, and accepting community where each person can experience God's grace.

Come join us! Click here for CHURCH MAP & DIRECTIONS.

West County Bible Church exists to bring people to the love of Jesus Christ and membership in His family, bring them to Christ-like maturity, equip them for ministry in the church and a life mission of sharing the Gospel, in order to magnify God. We celebrate God's presence in our lives, welcome everyone as His family, educate His people for growth, show His love to others, and share His life-changing Word.

In essential beliefs, we have unity.
"...endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Ephesians 4:3-6

In non-essential beliefs, we have liberty.
"Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things...Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand...Therefore let us not judge one another, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way...let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another...Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God..." Romans 14

In all our beliefs, we show love.

"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: The Colombia mission team is in Barranquilla and relying on your prayers. A list of prayer needs is detailed on the back bulletin board. They look forward to sharing details of the work with everyone next Sunday!

We have a couple more weeks to gather school supplies for the Jefferson County Rescue Mission. They are attempting to provide backpacks filled with pens, pencils, flash drives, notebooks, scissors, rulers, glue, etc. for underprivileged children. Our donations are needed to help these students have a successful school year.

Plans are in the works for a chartered bus trip to the Creation Museum in Kentucky. This adventure is open to WCBC and friends! Please indicate your interest on the sign-up sheet on the back table or call us to find out more information. Dates are tentative.

Answers in Genesis, the ministry behind the Creation Museum, is presenting a free seminar at Gateway Christian Church on Sunday and Monday, August 2 and 3. Additional information is available on the website: www.answersoutreach.org/StLouis15.

Romans 8:38-39

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers,
nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God"
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
